Steel go kart frame protection and skid plate kit by PKT. Ideal for protecting the underside of your chassis on track from curbs, off-track incidents, and general wear and tear. This skid plate kit is durable, well-engineered, and fits perfectly to a variety of racing go karts. A great addition and protection to your karting investment!

For 2022 the skid plate has been thinned slightly in thickness, from .120 to .101″ in thickness! This allows for the skid plates to be utilized on slightly lower ride-height chassis.

Overview

Made from thick plate steel with an etched PKT logo on the underside, these skid plates are built to last even the toughest tests a karter can throw at them. Newly designed to fit just about every kart chassis out there, the PKT skid plate kit is manufactured from .101″ stainless steel and fits 28, 30, or 32mm frame tubes and chassis.

Choose from a kit of (3) pieces that cover the front of the frame as well as the waist of the chassis, or just the front chassis guard.

Note: This set does NOT fit Birel chassis that have a ‘stepped’ floortray.

Dimensions

Newly updated, the PKT skid plates are now the following dimensions:

Front Plate: 6″ Width x 3″ Length (center-center on bolts is 5″) x .125″ thick
Side Plates: 4.5″ Width x 3″ Length (center-center on bolts is 3.5″) x .125″ thick

Ideal For: All Kart Chassis
